Enemies have morale as well as bodies. Break their will and they
rout — and a regiment that breaks panics everyone who can see it.
Order shatters will and kills almost nobody. Forge erases men and
barely dents will. Wild is cheap, fast and dreadful in numbers.
You never pick a creed. Devotion accrues one building at a time, and what
you have built decides what you may build next.
Machines — Rams and Siege Towers — have no morale at all. They cannot be
frightened, only destroyed, so a defence that only breaks will needs an answer.
